Albert Einstein, Richard Feynman, and Stephen Hawking all toyed with the notion that past, present, and future exist simultaneously. Somewhat frighteningly, they toyed about that notion the same way a bored house cat methodically dismembers a random, hapless daddy long leg spider.
We can’t hold a candle to that. We’re just going to squash that daddy long leg into the patio door. Then nab a lolly for the screaming toddler. And, in the following three minutes of tranquility, we’re going to dash out this newsletter.
As you’ve been using ShowMojo over the last several months, we hope you’ve seen steady, incremental updates to look, feel and usability.
We’re not talking about the new Listing Gallery Beta. That’s an awe-inspiring accomplishment outside of this time.
Today, we’re talking about the Dashboard, Listings Pages, Settings Pages and other places that your team uses on a daily or weekly basis. On this very day, you’ll see improvements to the Dashboard as soon as you log in. They’ll be:
- Small improvements on desktop and notebook screens.
- Useful improvements on iPads and tablets.
- Truly meaningful advances on iPhones and other smartphones (if you log into the ShowMojo “full site”).
In the coming weeks and months there will be more changes. The old stand-alone mobile web experience will evolve into a responsive, fully-functional management console that flexes intuitively from widescreen desktop to tablet to smartphone.
In the end, we wish this fits every stellar vision conceived by Einstein, Feynman and Hawking. Though, we know it won’t. We assume that with all this change there will be a miss. We’re not any of those great minds, after all. So when we stick a brown star where a gas giant should have gone, Please Do Let Us Know About a Usability Issue.
Did this newsletter leave you a little time-bendy? Our apologies. That’s occasionally where we land when we try to solve every leasing problem for owners, property managers and renters alike.
