Sorry folks, but there’s no sales pitch this week. Instead, we hope to provide a little assist to our brick-and-mortar-business friends as you navigate the next couple months.
ShowMojo has been a fully-remote company since 2015. Also relevant, over the previous weeks, we have already experienced Coronavirus in staff members’ home countries. We have had people in and out of quarantine, schools shut down for weeks, and everything else that is unfortunately beginning in the United States (where many of our team members also reside).
Our company has a lot of experience with remote work, the critical systems behind remote work, and best practices for preparing staff.
We have posted a publicly-available article to the ShowMojo website with:
- Our Remote Work Tech Stack: A list of mission critical systems to consider. This isn’t about email and cloud drives, but the real systems that promote remote collaboration.
- Remote Work Readiness Tips: A short checklist of items to review with staff members. This is something to do now, before a fortnight of remote work unexpectedly becomes the only option.
We wish we could do more – like drone-dropping toilet paper or seeding rainclouds with hand sanitizer – but that’d be Jeff Bezo’s deal.
Be safe. Be healthy.
