Are You an In-Person Showing Hold Out?
You’re in good company. Three-quarters of all ShowMojo-scheduled showings are in-person showings (and not self-showings).
Our next big thing for in-person showings was released just last month: the Autonomous Scheduling Beta. Feedback on Autonomous Scheduling has been off-the-charts positive. If you haven’t done so already, Participate in the Beta.
Do Your Showings Swing Both Ways?
Do you conduct both in-person showings and lockbox-based self-showings, depending on the needs of individual listings?
If so, we’ve got two great new features for you:
- If you in-person-show and self-show at the same listing, you can now Choose Which Showing Option Prospects See First.
- Regardless of the listing and the showing method, now you can decide Whether to Allow Self-Showings on Holidays and Other No Showing Days.
Fraud Wars, Again
Our Spring Installment to End the Run of Self-Show-Based Fraud was a blockbuster success.
In a B-grade, straight-to-video sequel, our fraudster friends have scored limited success posing as someone responsible for leasing the property (like the property owner, just lending the property manager a hand). The fraudster tells the prospect to go schedule a showing through the official channel (ShowMojo) but circle back to him to submit an application.
We’ve pulled the plug on this production. The prospect must now read and acknowledge a fraud warning message prior to receiving the access code. This warning appears:
- Automagically, when ShowMojo detects signs of lockbox-based fraud.
- Always, if you configure this setting on your ShowMojo account.
You have full control over the warning message content. For all the details, see our article: Self-Show Location Verification and Fraud Warning Message.
Are these self-showing updates not enough to warm your morning cup of mojo? Stay tuned. We’ve got even more on the way.
