What do the prospective renters see?

When they view your schedule-a-showing page, prospective renters see all the photos and details you provide ShowMojo for the listing. More important, prospects see the actual showing availability for the listing. Finally, prospects see all your pre-showing screening questions and criteria.
Basically, prospects get a professional and well-organized view into the listing, its availability to be seen, and the expectations of your company.

How do I get started?

Just pick a plan to start with and sign up. You can always change your plan within the first month if it turns out another plan might fit better. After that, you can upgrade during the same month and downgrade for the next month.
Once you have signed up, ShowMojo has an automated account setup process that will take you through everything that needs to be put in order prior to your one-on-one onboarding.

What if I don’t get an account confirmation email?

First, please check your spam and bulk mail folders to see if your account confirmation email was placed in there. You can re-send yourself an account confirmation email from the log-in page.
Additionally, you can change your email address and resend the account confirmation email from the very first account set up page.

How well does ShowMojo work in Canada?

ShowMojo works extremely well in Canada. We have Canadian customers who have been with us since 2013. Probably 98 percent of ShowMojo’s feature set works in Canada without issue or adjustment.
We say 98 precent to acknowledge that we continue to learn about nuances in the Canadian residential rental market (in many of the same ways we’re still learning about nuances within individual U.S. counties and cities)…

Does ShowMojo work outside the U.S. and Canada?

ShowMojo can schedule showings anywhere in the world. At present, ShowMojo phone and text features work in the U.S. and Canada.

Can I use ShowMojo to schedule things other than rental and real estate showings?

Sure! While ShowMojo’s target market is residential rentals, ShowMojo can, in fact, schedule any kind of service or event.

Can apartment locators, or agents who advertise non-exclusive rentals, use ShowMojo?

The short answer is yes. ShowMojo does have apartment finders and apartment locators as customers. Some of them have been with us for a very long time.
There are a few important things to understand, though…

Do I own the rights to the listings and photos I upload to ShowMojo?

Yes. The rights to anything added to ShowMojo stay with the original copyright holder. We won’t use your ads or photos anywhere else.

Is there any easy way to add all my ShowMojo on-the-market listings to my website?

Yes. Almost always there will be. ShowMojo has an embedded listings gallery option that requires almost no development.
Additionally, ShowMojo schedule-a-showing links can be automatically enabled or integrated into sites hosted by Property Management Websites, FreeRentalSite.com, Rent Manager, Hero PM and others.

Does ShowMojo have an API for adding and updating listings?

Yes. The API can also take listing off the market and put them on the market.

Does ShowMojo work with my Craigslist posts?

Yes. Either directly (using our template and photos) or indirectly (by automatically answering all inbound calls, emails, and text messages).

Does ShowMojo have an auto-reply feature for people who email instead of scheduling a showing?

Yes. In fact, ShowMojo pioneered this functionality.
ShowMojo can automatically reply to prospects who email you from anywhere. But this is not a “dumb” auto-reply. It is in context to the specific listing AND typically includes a reply via text message as well.

Can I screen prospects before they are allowed to schedule?

Yes. ShowMojo has an extremely flexible screening question and scheduling restrictor capability. You can ask almost anything (legal) you like, and restrict a prospect from scheduling showings when an answer does not comply with either your general or listing-specific application criteria.

What are VaultLOCKS and CodeBox Digital Lockboxes and how do they work with ShowMojo?

VaultLOCKS and CodeBox are types of digital lockboxes that store physical keys at the property and provide access to those keys via one-session codes that can be tracked back to individual visitors.
Many property managers and owners use ShowMojo to facilitate in-person showings.

What to do when I lost my password or am having trouble logging in?

Go to the Reset Your Password page, enter your ShowMojo email, then check your email inbox and junk mail box for an email from ShowMojo with instructions.

Where does ShowMojo syndicate Rental listings and can I control what sites ShowMojo syndicates to?

ShowMojo syndicates to more than 50 residential rental Internet listing sites. You can see a selection of those sites on our Listing Sites Settings page.
And, yes, ShowMojo gives you the ability to enable syndication sites (or networks) on an individual basis. You can turn on and off what you like.

Can ShowMojo import listings from other systems and, if yes, which ones?

ShowMojo’s listing import functionality is one of its crown jewels.
ShowMojo can automatically import, on-market and start scheduling listings with zero effort on your end. The same is true when your listings go off market, when showings need to be canceled, and when those canceled showings need to be redirected to your other on-market listings. It’s all automatic.

Are lockboxes or smartlocks safe for self-showings on occupied home?

Let’s just be clear on this question. We’re talking about:
A self-showing where the prospective renter would enter the home unaccompanied via a digital lockbox or other lockbox system.
A listing where a tenant (who is planning to move out) currently resides.

Does ShowMojo provide email and phone support?

ShowMojo provides email support to all accounts. ShowMojo provides phone support (outbound, scheduled call on request) to some PRO and all ELITE accounts. You can see which ones on the ShowMojo Pricing Pages.

What is the Yardi Integration Beta?

ShowMojo is thrilled to announce the Yardi Integration Beta. This integration is for users of Yardi Voyager and Rent Cafe. The integration includes all activities performed in our other listing import and integrations.

Does ShowMojo have a call center?

ShowMojo has something even better. We call it Live Answer (24/7 On Demand).
With Live Answer, our agents answer only when needed, based on your schedule, your availability, and when the prospect really has chosen to speak with an agent. (Think of all those unnecessary calls you won’t need to pay for.)

What to do if my credit card is not being accepted at sign up?

During the sign-up process, ShowMojo authorizes your credit card not just to prove that it is charge-worthy, but also in an attempt to confirm it belongs to you.

Can I use CodeBoxes and VaultLOCKS eLockboxes that were purchased elsewhere with ShowMojo?

The answer is almost always yes. But we don’t want to give you a guaranteed yes until we know the serial numbers.
